When are your worship services?

While we await a return to in-person worship services, we currently post services each Sunday on our Facebook page by 8:00 AM. Special services will be held during Lent.  Check the calendar or Worship page for details and updates.

When is Sunday School offered?

Sunday School is currently offered on Saturday mornings at 9:30 via Zoom.  Designed for kids in preschool through 5th grade, the program includes interactive virtual sessions plus at-home activities.  Please visit our Christian Education page for information on additional programs.

Do you offer adult education?

Various Christian Education programs are offered during the year for adults.  Book Studies, Bible Studies and Prayer Groups are among those offered.  Please see the church calendar or our Christian Education page for more details.

What is the confirmation program?

Confirmation is a two year program for junior high/7th & 8th graders.  The class meets on Wednesday nights during the school year.  Confirmation Class is just one of our many Christian Education programs.

How do I make a donation to St. Barnabas?

You can mail a check payable to “St. Barnabas Lutheran Church” to the church office at 8901 S. Cary-Algonquin Road, Cary, IL 60013. For other donation methods, please visit our Giving page.

Where can I find more information about St. Barnabas Christian Preschool?

St. Barnabas Christian Preschool was established to minister to the needs of the community by offering a Christian preschool program. Licensed by the State of Illinois, St. Barnabas Christian Preschool offers preschool classes to children ages 3 to 5 years of age. How can I learn more about the Cary-Grove Food Pantry?

The Cary-Grove Food Pantry is located in the parking lot of St. Barnabas, but is an independently operated non-profit organization. The pantry accepts food as well as personal care items and laundry/cleaning supplies.
