Morning in Bethlehem

Join us for an interactive event where families will be transported back in time to Bethlehem to celebrate the birth of Jesus. You’ll travel through the Bethlehem and share in authentic, multi sensory experiences to discover the miraculous impact of Jesus’ birth—and life!

We will have a Spice Shoppe, where you can grind frankincense and Myrrh. You will feel it, smell it, and even take some with you to wear in a special bottle to remind you of the gifts given to Jesus on his birth. Then you’ll find our Toy Shoppe, where you can play a few games that they played back then. You can also choose to make a doll or a ball in the old way.

After that a visit to the Bethlehem Baker will teach about baking in old Bethlehem. You can try your hand and make a simple and tasty treat.
In the stable, you can be part of a short play that reminds you of the “hazards” of staying in a manger full of animals.
