Regular Meetings & Events

At St. Barnabas Lutheran Church

In addition to the special events below, we host numerous groups and regularly scheduled meetings at St. Barnabas.

We also have a Google calendar with all the events, meetings, and groups in Cary that are associated with St. Barnabas or use our facility.

Sunday Worship

Join us every Sunday for Worship.  Service begins at 9:30 am and is streamed live for those joining us at home.

Sunday School

Our Sunday school meets at 9:15am (15 minutes before church service begins). Parents can use this time to relax before service with a cup of coffee. If you are interested in signing up your child please fill out the registration form or if you have questions,  get in touch with our youth director. 

Choirs at St. Barnabas

We have three different opportunities to get musical at St. Barnabas, an adult choir, a children’s choir, and a bell choir. Adult choir and children’s choir meet after worship on Sundays. The bell choir meets Wednesday evenings at 5:30 pm

Confirmation Class

On Wednesdays from 4:30-6:00pm we have our Confirmation classes.  If you’d like more information please reach out to the pastor.

Book Group

At St. Barnabas we have a Book Group that meets most Sunday nights at 7:00 pm on Zoom.  Sign up for the Weekly Encourager newsletter at the bottom of the page or follow us on Facebook to stay up to date on books and meetings. 

Prayer Team

Our Prayer Team gathers on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm (Zoom link available too!), to lift the community and those whom have requested up in prayer. All are welcome to join us or request prayer.

Alcoholics Anonymous

If you are looking for a meeting in Cary, Tuesdays at 7:30 pm Alcoholics Anonymous meets at St. Barnabas. This group is dedicated to sobriety and recovery spiritually through the Twelve Steps program.

Scouts

We have local Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops that use St. Barnabas as their meeting space!
